Launch of Cheeky Times
After a hiatus of nearly 6 months, we are proud to present the all new Cheeky Times. A blog that aims to educate and entertain readers from the 8 years old punk to the 80 years old invalid. For your info, the problem plugging the old blog has been resolved albeit in a ‘tragic manner’ (for more details pls email cheekyblogger@yahoo.com)
To start off, Cheeky Times is proud to announce that in the last Reporters Without Borders ranking, Cheeky Times was placed a respectable 139th in the Press Freedom Index, one spot above Channelnewsasia and The Straits Times. This shows that Cheeky Times is slightly more credible than the two incumbent media organisations when it comes to providing up to date and reliable information and analysis yo! Cheeky Times would like to take this chance to thank Reporters Without Borders for this recognition and for ranking us as a separate entity away from the rest of the losers. Beside this achievement, Cheeky Times has also gathered a small group of ‘established’ and ‘award winning’ (note: established and award winning can be interpreted in many ways to many people, so don’t be so anal about it.) columnists into our fold all for the sake of providing ‘first world’ commentaries on all aspects of social, political and trivia issues surronding our daily lives to YOU, our most treasured asset. Our team of 139th ranked madcap columnists, reporters and editors will hereby swear to continue to uphold journalistic pride and integrity. And we will strive to despatch our duties with the utmost professionalism and dedications. Nabeh, said already feel like crying sia.
With Regards
Cheeky
